3rd June Networking Breakfast - Partners In Care Together

About this event

From Survive To Thrive - Revitalise Your Business

Be taken on a journey of rags to almost riches and learn how you too can rebrand, and develop your business in a competitive environment without spending a lot of money! Partners in Care Together (Health Services Foundation) is a local not-for-profit charity that had to reinvent itself in order to survive. Without government funding, with a miniscule budget and virtually no staff the Foundation needed to be revitalised. Belinda Nunn, Foundation Manager will outline the steps taken to bring this charity into a thriving and enduring local charity business.

With a nine bedroom accommodation facility and three cafes as the sources of funding for the charity, the diverse nature of these two businesses needed different approaches. Belinda will present her strategies that worked and demonstrate how the approach can work for your business.

Belinda will cover

1. How go to about a rebrand without spending a fortune

2. How to create awareness of your new brand

3. How to take people on the journey with you

4. How to engage with your community, and why

5. How to measure success

Belinda has been living her best life in Bundaberg since 2021 and calls it her forever home. Belinda started with the local charity Partners in Care Together (Health Services Foundation) in June 2024, after working previously for Cancer Council Queensland and Triple M. As the Foundation Manager of the charity Belinda has embarked on transforming the businesses within the charity to thrive, whilst raising community awareness of what the Health Services Foundation does, which is to support patients and their families within the Bundaberg Hospital, as well as the health services and hospitals in Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Monto, Mundubbera,Childers, Biggenden, Eidsvold, Gayndah, Gin Gin and Mount Perry. Belinda and the team raise money through sponsorships and donations to purchase medical equipment that doesn't receive government funding; supply volunteers for vital hospital services; and transport patients to and from their homes to hospital appointments in the Community Car. When Belinda isn't at work she can be found at her home in Bundy North pottering about with her two dogs Murphy and Banjo.
