Special Event for DINE!
The Fig Tree Cafe is a training cafe for students of the Certificate III in Hospitality at Impact Community Services. It is not generally open to the public, only staff and students at Impact.
As part of their course, they need to provide table service. BBWN will be supporting these students by holding our May DINE in the function room that will be set up cafe style. We will have a set menu that caters for different dietary requirements at very affordable prices.
Not only will this be a great way to network, it will extremely valuable to these students in their training.
While it is a 'drop-in' event, please register so the cafe can forecast appropriately on their ordering. Please remember that they aren't a commercial kitchen, so won't have a lot of opportunity to sell excess stock.
There is no cost to attend, you just pay for any food or drinks that you order.
Networking is what it is all about, so we are more than happy for non-members to attend and we encourage you to bring a friend!
How to get there...
When you get to Impact, you can drive into their carpark and park anywhere other than the parking spaces that have a sign for 'Impact only vehicle' (against the wooden fenceline). Head back towards the entrance driveway and there is a breezeway on the left (on the way out). The Fig Tree Cafe is located in the breezeway and the function room is to the right of the take away window. We'll have BBWN signage to guide you.
